How do I subscribe to EV Guardian?
Message us with your box code, pay, and our team activates it. There is no automatic online checkout yet — a person handles every subscription.

Go online and set your report email
When the box is online, membership takes effect by itself within a few minutes. Then add your report email in the settings on the car screen (up to 3 addresses) and press the confirm button in the email within 7 days to start receiving reports.

Danger alerts are always free
Member or not, danger-level alerts still appear on screen with sound on every box. We never put danger alerts behind a paywall.
Good to know before you subscribe
How do I renew?
Same as subscribing: message us with your box code and pay. There is no automatic billing right now, so if you do not renew, membership simply ends on its date.
Do I lose my history if membership ends?
No. The battery health screen goes back to an intro page and report emails stop, but your history is not deleted — renew any time and it is all back. CarPlay, EV Gauge and danger alerts keep working.
What if the car has no internet?
Yes. Membership keeps working for 14 days after the box last reached our server. Internet is only used for membership checks, reports and updates.
Know the limits
EV Guardian helps you monitor and get alerts; it is not a certified safety device. The car's BMS and dashboard warnings remain the primary protection. SOH is the value reported by the car, not our own measurement. Every report is not a battery health certificate.
